A skateboard enthusiast believes he has built the world’s largest collection – valued at over half a million dollars.
Mega collector Todd Huber estimates he’s spent more than $100,000 on boards and memorabilia, though recent appraisals suggest the collection is now worth over five times that amount.
Originally from San Francisco and now living in Simi Valley, California, the 51-year-old once kept his collection in a one-car garage – much to his wife’s dismay.
Today, Todd’s 5,000 skateboards are housed in a 30,000 square-foot warehouse, which also features a shop, an indoor skatepark, and, according to him, “the very first Skateboard museum ever in the world.”
